Color of Eyes: Brown Color of Hair: Brown Race: Caucasian Attorney General Greg Abbott needs your help to find Child Support Evader John Vinson Lowry, one of the Most Wanted Child Support Evaders in Texas. Lowry, who was named a Child Support Evader in December 2005, owes $38,308 for three children from San Antonio. In April 2002, when Lowry and the children’s mother divorced, he was ordered to pay $657 a month in child support. He did not make a single payment. In October 2003, an arrest warrant was issued after Lowry failed to appear at a court hearing to address his noncompliance. He is wanted on a $10,000 cash bond that, if paid, will go to the mother and children. John Vinson Lowry has turned his back on his children by refusing to provide financial assistance they need to succeed in life. Due to missed payments and interest, Lowry now owes more than $38,000 in unpaid child support. Investigators from the Attorney Gen-eral’s Office have searched the state for Lowry. Please contact the Attorney General’s Office at 1-866-EVADERS (382-3377) to report information that may lead to the arrest of John Vinson Lowry. Child Support Evaders are being singled out because they have the ability to take responsibility for their children, but refuse to do so. Incar-ceration is the only option for parents who flagrantly ignore a court’s order to pay child support. The Attorney General’s Office helps parents who lack the ability to pay child support by referring them to job training and employment services.
