‘No-Call’ Violators Sued

Attorney General Greg Abbott has sued fifteen companies and individuals for violating the ‘Texas No-Call’ law. These enforcement lawsuits seek to stop the telemarketers from harassing consumers who have signed up for the no-call program. The companies were selling a variety of products and services, including financial planning services for seniors, computer and auto repair, home improvements such as siding and insulation, and carpet and upholstery cleaning services.

For more information about the no-call list, call toll-free (866) TXNOCALL (866-896-6225). You can also sign up online at www.texasnocall.com.
