On Nov. 8, 2007, Noronha was arrested by the Attorney General’s Cyber Crimes Unit for soliciting a 13-year-old girl online. The arrest occurred after he drove from Fort Hood to an apartment in Copperas Cove, where he arranged to sexually assault an underage girl. The girl was actually an undercover Cyber Crimes Unit investigator with whom Noronha twice chatted online.
At the time of his arrest, Noronha was married and employed as an IT engineer.
