The arrest stemmed from a lengthy investigation into the disappearance of Vicki Nisbett, who was last seen on Dec. 14, 1991 at her Williamson County residence in the Anderson Mill area. Her husband reported her missing two days later.
Earlier this year, the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office reopened the 22-year-old case for continued investigation which led to a felony indictment for murder against Rex Nisbett and a warrant for his arrest.
