Mr. Arturo D. Rodriguez, Jr.
Assistant City Attorney
City of Georgetown
City Attorney's Office
P.O. Box 409
Georgetown, Texas 78627-0409

Dear Mr. Rodriguez:

You ask whether certain information is subject to required public disclosure under chapter 552 of the Government Code. Your request was assigned ID# 124232.

The City of Georgetown received a request for the results of the management audit conducted on the Georgetown Police Department. You advise that the requested information was previously requested by the same requestor, and was the subject of Open Records Letter 98-0404 (1998). That decision ruled that the city must disclose the requested information to the requestor. Open Records Letter 98-0404 is dispositive of the instant request. The information in question has been made public and may not now be withheld.

We are resolving this matter with an informal letter ruling rather than with a published open records decision. This ruling is limited to the particular records at issue under the facts presented to us in this request and should not be relied on as a previous determination regarding any other records. If you have questions about this ruling, please contact our office.
