Mr. J. Robert Giddings
Dear Mr. Giddings:
You ask whether certain information is subject to required public disclosure under the Texas Open Records Act (the "act"), chapter 552 of the Government Code. Your request was assigned ID# 122806.
The University of Texas System (the "system") received an open records request for "all electronic records, files and entries concerning 'Lisson' and/or 'Initiate,' including audit trails, histories, reports and generation of commands to add or delete information, since 1993." You advise that the information responsive to this request, with the exception of "the enclosed e-mail transmitting this request to this office," is the same information that was the subject of a previous ruling by this office, Open Records Letter No. 98-2631 (1998). You make no argument for withholding the referenced e-mail, and we assume you do not seek to withhold it. Because this office has previously ruled on the other information at issue, we need not further address the public nature of this information at this time. See Gov't Code § 552.301(a).(1)
If you have questions about this letter, please contact our office.
