Child support payments can be made online, over the phone or at a kiosk. Here’s how it works

When making a payment, you will need the following information to complete your transaction: 

  • Noncustodial parent’s first and last name
  • Noncustodial parent’s Social Security Number
  • Address (first-time registration only)
  • OAG 10-digit case number - You can find your OAG 10-digit case number on your monthly billing statement or on Your Online Account
  • Valid email address

Smart e-Pay 

You can make child support payments online through the Texas State Disbursement Unit’s secure payment website, Smart e-Pay. Payment methods accepted by Smart e-Pay include: 

  • Credit Card: American Express®, MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover®, JCB® or Maestro®.
  • E-Wallet: Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Venmo.
  • Bank autodraft.

A convenience fee will be applied to payments made via Smart e-Pay both online and over the phone. For payments between $1.00 and $9,999.99, the fee is 2.55% of the total payment amount. All fees are subject to change. 

When making a payment through Smart e-Pay, allow seven business days for the payment to be posted to your child support case. 

MoneyGram  

You can make child support payments with a credit or debit card through the secure MoneyGram Bill Pay website. To make a payment using MoneyGram, you will need to register for an account and provide the Child Support Division OAG 10-digit case number and cause number. Use Receive Code 14681. 

Your cause number is the number that the Clerk of Courts office assigns to any case that is opened in the court. It may be found in your child support documents and/or the court order that established your child support order. 

To pay online, visit MoneyGram. You may also pay in person with the above information. 

MoneyGram may apply convenience fees to payments. When making a payment through MoneyGram, allow three business days for the payment to be posted to your child support case.
