Attorney General Ken Paxton today released the following statement on the death of longtime State of Texas employee David Mattax:
“I am saddened to hear of the passing of a great servant of the State of Texas, David Mattax. David valiantly served this state in numerous capacities, including 23 years at the Office of the Attorney General. He made everywhere he worked a better place and impacted the lives of the people with whom he worked. Angela and I extend our prayers and sympathy to David's family, his friends and co-workers. He will be missed.”
