Attorney General Ken Paxton today issued the following statement in recognition of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day:
“This past year has seen a lot of tragedy for our law enforcement. Too many brave men and women were forced to pay the ultimate sacrifice in their mission to keep our communities safe. I therefore want to take this moment to express my most heartfelt thanks and support to all who wear the badge with honor. Know that I stand with you and your families as you answer the call to protect and serve. I pray for your safety in the coming months. I know that every Texan joins me in extending our gratitude to you.”
