The Office of the Attorney General has instituted an agency-wide immediate notification system called OAG ENS to automatically reach employees in the event of an emergency or disaster that impacts business operations. The serious occurrence could affect all employees statewide or be isolated to a single office or region.

If it is your first time logging into the system, your user name will be the first part of your email address, before the @texasattorneygeneral.gov, without any periods or dashes and all in lower case. It will only take 24 characters so if the first part of your email address is longer than that, then stop after you’ve reached the 24 characters. If it is shorter than 24 characters, then stop once you reach the @ symbol of your email address.
Your password will be your agency work number without any dashes.
Yes. We have done our best to transfer over the data but you will need to verify information. The first time you log into the system, you will need to choose “First Time Registration”.
When you first register you will be prompted to change your password. You will notice that once you do that it will enter you into the system’s first page which shows a section to “Change Password”; you are not required to that again. This is where that option sits should you want to change it in the future.
No. Any number you use can only be in one field. So if you have a personal cell phone you would enter that information in that field so that you have the option to choose call, text and/or both of those options. Home phones will only receive a phone call but not a text.
You do not need a 1 but do need to include the area code. Enter your numbers as 10 digits without dashes (i.e., 5125551212).
If you fill out the Personal Cell Phone field, you will need to select the call and text option. Depending on your personal cell phone plan, your provider may charge for these messages.
Yes. At the right of each of your contact numbers, there is a field called “cascading order”. This allows you to choose which device will be called 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. It can be overridden in an emergency if necessary.
Human Resources Division shows that everyone has completed the Personal Information Election form.This form ensures that only information that you have authorized to be released would be subject to disclosure under the Public Information Act. Should you have any concerns, please contact your manager.
Everyone is responsible to correct or update their own information. If you log back in, it will allow you to make any changes.
